New Season, New Cup

Hi guys,

A new season begins and we have a lot of changes. First of all the EF system will be different this season, as the EF points will have less influence on the matches and in addition your players will gain different EF points when they are not playing, depending on how many EF points they have in that moment. Also one player who isn’t playing will gain 6 EF points if he has less than 30 EF points and one player who isn’t playing will gain 1 EF point if he has more than 90 EF points.

The full list is:

EF between 90 and 100 : Your players gain 1 point
EF between 70 and 90 : Your players gain 2 points
EF between 60 and 70 : Your players gain 3 points
EF between 40 and 60 : Your players gain 4 point
EF between 30 and 40 : Your players gain 5 points
EF between 0 and 30 : Your players gain 6 points

The bnet ladder was stopped between the seasons, but now it is going to start again. Today the ladder will be reset and tomorrow it will be re-launched. Remember that now you lose 1 EF point every 10 bnet ladder games played. At the end of the season the best 16 players will play a tournament with prizes.

Also for the page itself we have upgrades, as you now you can see when your next match is, as it is displayed in the top of the page. You also can see the server time in the town hall, which is very useful if you aren’t living in European CET zones.

And now to the biggest upgrade this week, the League Cup! I’m proud to announce that this week the league cup will begin. Now you might be asking yourself who play the league cup? Well, most of the teams who played the last season in your own country, as every country has his own league cup ( not at the moment, but in the next seasons all countries will have league cup), and the teams who play Champions Series won’t play League Cup. So is a good chance for the smaller teams to earn money. You will get money just for playing in it! A sort of attendance fee. This though depends on against who you
play. If you play against a first division team, you will get more money than if you play against a fifth division team. And if you win your match, you will get even more money! The number of teams in the league cup depends on the number of teams in the country.
And the next question is, when is the league cup played? You will play league cup wednesday and friday at 12am, until
the end of the cup. So have fun and show us some magic micro!

It’s reward time!

And this week it´s pay off time ! If you managed to make it to the Top 4 in your own league you will be rewarded. Remember that only the first two (2) teams will go to the upper division, and the last four (4) teams to the lower one.

The Champions Series final will also be played this week and the best team worldwide will be decided this Wednesday at 12am.

The finalist are Fabory and Us5. After fighting really hard against teams from everywhere around the globe, they made it to the final. Good luck to you, both!

The Fan based T-Shirt contest recently ended and the layout winner was the number 3. You can check the winner here.

Bnet ladder added. Contest – start voting!

Hi dudes!

Today, we have a big surprise for everyone! It’s about the new feature that ONe was talking about in the forums. Well, the new feature is… *drums* … A REAL BNET LADDER!

Your player(s) will face other players on the ladder and they will fight to earn the first spot! You won’t have to do anything, your players will join the ladder by themselves, but only the players who are being “ladder” trained will be able to play on the ladder. So, all you have to do is to set their training to “ladder” and that’s it.

At the end of the season, the best players will be able to compete against each other to decide who will be proclaimed as the ladder champion. This season, playing on the bnet ladder won’t cost you anything. During the next season, playing bnet ladder will cost you 1 EF point for every 10 games. It doesn’t matter how many of your players you feel like adding to the ladder game. You can have all your players playing if you feel like it. But if you change one of your player’s training to “Replays”, for example, he will leave the ladder, but will not lose his record. The bnet ladder also has a “exp. decay”. If one of your players stops playing for 5 days, he lose some experience, gradually.

The match ups are random, and your player(s) will only fight against those with a difference of 6 levels, maximum. The games are played daily, hourly — between 1pm and 6pm. The amount of games for each player is based on randomness, depending how intense their “ladder” training is. The more intense the training, the more he will play and vice versa.

You can check all your players’ stats in the players’ cards, like the Champions Series, League or Friendly matches stats.

We will use this season to test the bnet ladder, since it is still a beta version. If you have any questions, please let us know. We will be more than glad to answer your questions.

Autologin and Team’s Logo

Hi managers! This week you can see a few changes at WC3Manager, the first new feature is the autologin. This makes our website more confortable, as you dont have to login everytime you enter into the website. You can choose “autologin” and WC3Manager will remember you, and you can forget the login process. You will be ready for the challenge!

These blog’s news will be shown in your own town hall.

But that´s not the best! Now you can upload your own team logo! The logo will be displayed in the match details and also in your profile. You can prove your designing skills there and maybe other teams will be afraid when they look at your logo.

We also worked on some other smaller things! More information in the auctions, more tags, flags and races everywhere. More info means less clicks. You can choose your tag and your logo in your profile. If you have additioanl suggestions you can post them in our forum, where there is a list of active suggestions posted by other users.

Remember that the Champions Series is being played every Sunday at 20:00. Only 8 teams are in the competition right now! The best teams are fighting for the victory!
